Yoga Instructor

Diane

Diane is a certified Yoga Instructor and Reiki Practitioner who started business after a ten year health struggle.  As a stay at home mother of two at the time, she woke up one morning unable to walk or use her hands due to excruciating pain and inflammation. She was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, put on a mild dose of a chemotherapy drug to pull in her immune system, and was told she would be on it for life. Her normal life became anything but normal in so many ways. Refusing to accept that she would be on these medications for life, Diane relentlessly studied and read all she could about Rheumatoid Arthritis, found a very successful natural path for treatment and starting attending Yoga classes, Reiki sessions and meditating.   She came to realize that the body can do amazing things. When we look after our body, mind, and spirit, our bodies are able to self-heal in ways we are not aware are possible.  Through these methods, she is now drug free and no longer deals with pain.   Diane provides Yoga and Reiki to high schools, senior centres, hospitals and private clients.  Her mission is to  share what she has learned with others through the practice of  Yoga, Reiki and meditation to assist them on their journey towards health and happiness.
